One day, a compassionate woman was walking her dog when she stumbled upon a shocking sight.
From beneath a car, a frail, emaciated cat crawled out right in front of the woman, as though she was asking her for help.
The poor cat was all skin and bones and in such a pitiful condition, needing urgent help. Moved by the cat’s plight, the woman quickly brought some food and water. The cat instantly began eating and drinking, indicating she hadn’t eaten in days.
After ensuring the cat had finished her meal, the woman went home, but she just couldn’t stop thinking about the unusual encounter.
Therefore, the woman kept returning to the exact spot to care for the cat. However, soon, something started to worry her.
Despite daily visits and nutritious food the woman was bringing her, the poor cat couldn’t gain any weight, suggesting an underlying issue.
The cat would quickly lose interest in food, despite the compassionate woman’s encouragement.
The woman realized the cat had a strong will to live, but she just needed professional help. After naming her Ki-Wang Kyu, which means miracle and hope, the woman reached out to local animal rescue volunteers for further assistance.
Fortunately, the volunteers wasted no time in helping. They gently placed Ki-Wang Kyu in the pet carrier and transported her to safety.
In the meantime, a security guard, who had been keeping an eye on the cat while she was on the streets, shared her story. Ki-Wang Kyu wasn’t always a street cat, which explains how she couldn’t fend for herself properly.
She had been abandoned by her owner at the entrance of the complex, where she was found a month later. There, with no food or shelter, she endured days of heavy rain.
Moved by the cat’s grim fate, the kind-hearted security guard provided her with a temporary shelter until the caring woman found her and secured her future.
At the shelter, Ki-Wang Kyu received professional help, including probiotics and other medications and treatments to improve her health.
Sadly, despite treatments, Ki-Wang Kyu’s condition didn’t improve, so they had to seek special help in a larger city.
There, vets diagnosed her with severe liver damage and feline panleukopenia. Despite the grim prognosis, everyone hoped for the best.
Fortunately, Ki-Wang Kyu refused to give up; she wanted to live at all costs. With specialized care and treatments for her condition, her overall health finally began to improve.
After almost two months, Ki-Wang Kyu was a completely different cat. Her fur grew back, and she began walking normally, transforming into a very energetic feline.
Four months later, Ki-Wang Kyu is a perfectly healthy feline. Thanks to the compassionate people who didn’t give up on her, she managed to escape the claws of death and is now ready for a new chapter in life.
After all, her name truly reflects the story of her life, and it’s a story about a miracle and hope, exactly what happened to this furry girl.
