Woman Tears Down Her Wall And Finds Someone Adorable Stuck In Cement

Sharing is caring!

Imagine coming back home after a long trip, only to hear a scary noise coming from your walls. Well, that’s what happened to a homeowner in Long Island, and I’m going to share it with you!

The woman was just about her usual routine after she heard the sad cries of a kitten stuck somewhere in her house. After looking everywhere, she figured out the sound was coming from the fireplace.

To her shock, she found out that the kitten had fallen 15 feet from the top of the fireplace and was trapped behind the cement wall.

She kept searching, but days went by with no sign of the kitten. The homeowner felt worried and helpless, but she refused to lose hope.

So, not knowing what else to do, she contacted John Debacker, an animal rescuer who is great at saving animals from tight spots.

Debacker and his partner, Deb Oliver, showed up ready to help the trapped kitten. They used hammers and crowbars to carefully break through the wall, making a small opening.

At last, they saw a tiny, scared face looking through the hole. The kitten was dusty and tired, but she was alive. Debacker gently picked her up and brought her to safety.

After spending some time with her, the brave little kitten was surprisingly cheerful despite everything she had been through. Sure, she was hungry and thirsty, but she purred happily as Debacker petted her.

Before long, the kitten was taken to Catpurrccinos Cat Rescue, where she quickly made friends with another kitten her age. She got a clean bill of health and was showered with love and care.

Debacker was overjoyed to see the kitten safe, as he shared in an interview:

“I don’t leave rescues unfinished. I knew she was coming home that night.”

And, he was right! Because of the kindness and hard work of these kind people, the kitten is now safe and healthy.

It’s scary to think about what might have happened if she had stayed stuck behind the wall. It really warms my heart to know she’s okay, that poor little thing!
