Texas Woman Finds A Four-Week Old Husky In A Trash Can, Left To Suffer In Silence
I believe every pet deserves a safe home and to be loved, but sadly, not all animals are shown such kindness.
This tiny four-week-old Husky pup was no exception. Just after arriving in the world, he was met with cruelty and heartbreak.
The poor pup was heartlessly thrown into a trash can in Austin, Texas, left to suffer in silence.
But despite being weak and exhausted, the little pup cried out, hoping his desperate pleas would finally be heard.
Fortunately, his cries were not in vain. His fate changed when a kind-hearted passerby heard strange noises coming from the garbage bin.
The sounds sounded urgent, prompting her to investigate. What she found shattered her heart – a tiny puppy clinging to life.
Without hesitation, the woman scooped him up and rushed him to an emergency veterinary clinic. But by the time they arrived, the puppy was cold and unresponsive.
The veterinarians immediately took action. They discovered that his blood sugar was dangerously low. Refusing to give up on him, they administered fluids and began warming his fragile body.
After a few moments, a miracle happened – the puppy, later named Kiss, started moving.
Though he couldn’t lift his head properly, he was fighting. The next morning, Kiss was transferred to the Austin Animal Center for further care, but due to the severity of his condition, he was soon moved to Austin Pets Alive!
The vets at APA! welcomed Kiss with open arms and immediately began providing him with the necessary treatments. They shared in a Facebook post:
“In a private clinic, care like this would cost over $1,000. At APA!, we do everything we can to keep that cost lower for pets like Kiss — but it’s still a heavy lift…”
Soon, Kiss’s story started spreading across social media and people were furious. They couldn’t understand how anyone could do such a cruel and heartless thing to a newborn, innocent animal.
Meanwhile, they praised the woman who didn’t turn a blind eye to the crying pup in the trash, as well as the dedicated vets who refused to give up on him.
Together, they played a significant role in Kiss’s life and inspired numerous people to do the same if they ever come across a helpless animal in need.
Kiss is now healing, but he also needs a loving human by his side who will help him grow stronger and fully recover.
Because of that, he’s looking for a loving foster home in Central Texas where he will have the chance to thrive and blossom.
Once he completely recovers, he will be ready to find his forever home, the one where he will be loved and cherished just as he deserves.
Until then, the most important thing is that Kiss, once clinging to life, now has a second chance at life and is patiently waiting to see what the future holds.
