This is one of those moments. It’s about a cheerful pup named Cutie, whose bright grin turned an ordinary day at the shelter into something truly special.
One day, Liz Standley, a volunteer at Dallas Animal Services, was going through her usual routine, handing out treats, sharing kindness, and checking in on the shelter dogs.
On any given day, she’d see wagging tails, hopeful eyes, and the usual mix of excitement and nervousness. But that day, something made her stop in her tracks.
In one of the kennels, a dog was looking right at her, and not just looking, but smiling. It wasn’t a timid or nervous look.
