Abandoned In Los Angeles, Husky Shivers With Fear After Family Decides She’s ‘Too Much’

June had always known the comfort and love of her family. For years, she enjoyed a happy life with them by her side.
But one day, everything took an unexpected turn.
Her family, feeling she was too much to handle, made the painful decision to surrender her to Stacy Hope Rescue in Los Angeles, leaving her bewildered and heartbroken. It was a lot for her to process.

For June, the cold, unfamiliar shelter felt like a nightmare. She tried to make herself as small as possible, wishing she could simply vanish.
Isabella Sance, the founder of the rescue, shared in an interview:
“She could not stop shaking… She just looked around and tried to get smaller and smaller.”
The life she once knew now seemed like a distant memory. Alone and trembling in a small kennel, June was left uncertain and afraid, not knowing what had happened or what the future would hold.

Huskies, like June, are known for their lively energy and excitement. They require plenty of space to run, play, and explore, and they flourish when they receive a lot of attention.
However, not everyone realizes just how much care and commitment a husky needs, which often results in them being left behind.
Unfortunately, this is a reality many huskies face. But for June, her story was about to take a turn for the better.

The shelter staff could immediately tell how frightened and distressed June was. It was clear that she couldn’t remain there much longer, overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty.
That’s when a compassionate volunteer stepped in, offering to take her in and provide some relief from the shelter’s chaos.
Once June arrived at her foster home, everything changed. She felt safe and secure, and it didn’t take long for her to start settling in and feeling more at ease.

After days of tension, June was finally able to stretch her legs and run freely, without any fear.
The peaceful, loving atmosphere in her new foster home helped her reconnect with the feeling of being truly comfortable and safe again.
Sance couldn’t have been happier to witness June’s progress. It was a moment they had been eagerly waiting for since her arrival, as she shared:
“We were so excited to finally see her put her guard down.”

Then, something incredible occurred. June met the dog in her foster home, and they instantly clicked.
The two became fast friends, playing and bonding right away. As Stance put it:
“As soon as she met her foster’s dog she turned into a completely new dog… It was hard to believe this was the same dog.”

June’s change was nothing short of remarkable. It was as if a heavy burden had been lifted from her.
She went from being terrified and trembling to a joyful, playful dog who could finally enjoy life.
The good news didn’t stop there. After getting comfortable in her foster home, her life continued to improve.
Not long after, she was adopted by a loving family with two other huskies!

The entire team at the rescue was overjoyed for her, as Stance expressed:
“We couldn’t be happier for her and her happy husky family.”
Now, June has two husky companions to play, run, and enjoy life with every day. She’ll never have to face the loneliness she once felt.
From now on, it’s all about love, joy, and the fulfilling life she was always meant to lead.
