Owner Uncovers His Cat’s Bizarre New Obsession In The Bathroom And It’s Way Too Funny

Sometimes, we all need a little pep talk, and it turns out, this rescue kitty, Perseus, was doing something similar in front of the bathroom mirror. 

His owner caught him growling at his own reflection, and it sparked a fascinating, and slightly amusing, chain of events.

Cats are known for their quirky behaviors, but Perseus took it to the next level with his mirror obsession. 

Whether he was confused, thinking another cat was intruding on his territory, or just admiring his own good looks, the behavior certainly caught his owners off guard.

As the growling continued, his owners tried everything to distract him, but nothing seemed to work. 

Eventually, they realized blocking his view of the mirror might calm him down. After some trial and error, they finally managed to calm Perseus by placing a pillow in front of him, and he stopped growling.

It turns out Perseus, now renamed Morris by his owners (because clearly, he wasn’t a fan of his first name), was still learning about his new environment and quirks at the time. His mirror sessions are now a regular part of his routine.

And the people had a funny way to comment this bizarre hobby:

“When you finally confront the person responsible for all the bad decisions you’ve made.”

Also:

“The irony that he’s named after a Greek hero who defeated Medusa by using a mirror.”

“Hes horrified. He never knew he was a cat. He is so traumatized.”

And my absolute favorite comment of them all:

“I like how the whole family came together to save perseus from himself.”
