This stray cat was saved from the cold outdoors. Luckily, just in the nick of time, a kind person came to her rescue, providing warmth and care. And guess what? She had a big surprise in store!
Luckily, she was saved just in time. When the temperatures began to drop… Who knows what would’ve happened if she was left out in the cold?
This way, she safely gave birth to a litter of six. Six “little panthers”…
It didn’t take long after her rescue for the cat’s belly to start growing. It turned out she was pregnant and about to become a mother. Everyone affectionately called her Belle.
Meet Belle, the soon-to-be mama cat.
Unfortunately, Belle’s former owner had to move away, leaving her behind. The LAPS Foster Kittens rescue organization says:
“She was a companion until her human moved and sadly without her.”
I have no doubt Belle was a great pet.
Belle had to be a good pet since she was so good to her new caregivers. She was well-adjusted and tame.
“Being a trusting and affectionate girl from the day we brought her home, we believe she was loved, but whatever the circumstance, she was left behind.”
Luckily, a kind neighbor realized Belle had been left behind, so they decided to feed the poor cat. They kept doing so until the weather started to get colder and winter came.
So, they brought her indoors, and that’s when they discovered she was expecting kittens.
They were concerned about the cat’s well-being, so they reached out to LAPS Foster Kittens, who gladly took Belle in and provided her with a loving home.
The cat was named Belle (after Disney’s Beauty and the Beast), and on December 27th, Belle gave birth to six adorable little black kittens, lovingly referred to as her little panthers.
She gave birth to four male and two female kittens. Belle and her babies received a safe and warm place to grow, far away from the cold winter. The kittens were full of energy, their tiny meows filling the room.
They were so cute that it was hard to tell them apart.
As the kittens grew and opened their eyes, their unique personalities began to shine. They were curious, playful, and always ready for adventure.
Among them, Cogsworth stood out as the runt of the litter, proving that size doesn’t matter when it comes to bravery. And Walt showed his independence by being the first to use the litter box like a big boy!
Following in their mama’s footsteps, the little black panthers learned important lessons and became stronger with each passing day. Belle taught them how to drink and eat from their bowls, preparing them for the world outside.
In just ten weeks, all the kittens found loving homes through LAPS. The rescue organization not only saved Belle, but they also provided the six newborn kittens with the care they needed and a chance to grow up in happy families.
This heartwarming story shows the incredible difference that a rescue can make in the lives of animals in need.
