Cats have remarkable abilities, and one of their talents is jumping from tall places and landing on all fours.
However, jumping from extreme heights, such as the ledge of a 30-story building, wouldn’t end well for any cat. Despite that, this feline turned out to be incredibly lucky.
The building’s residents were in shock after spotting an orange tabby cat trapped on the ledge of a 30-story building.
It all started when the cat wandered into a homeowner’s home, where he wasn’t welcomed.
Instead of gently taking the cat out, the homeowner shooed him away. Frightened, the cat rushed out the window onto the narrow ledge, where he remained trapped for days.
Hungry and frightened, the cat’s desperate cries echoed throughout the area, alerting the residents.
Once the trapped cat was discovered, the residents decided to work together to help him. However, despite trying to lure him with delicious food, the cat was too terrified to move.
Desperate, the residents contacted a rescue group for professional help, and they quickly responded.
When the rescuers saw the cat, they quickly realized he was hungry, dehydrated, and stressed from all the trauma he had to endure. They set a humane trap, but the cat was still too afraid to approach them.
With no other options, the rescuers performed a risky trick. They reached out toward the cat to grab him and pull him to safety. But the terrified cat bolted after realizing they were trying to catch him.
The rescuers refused to give up on the poor feline, so they chased the cat from room to room, trying to grab him from a different room. However, what happened next left them in shock.
Just as they were about to reach the cat, he shocked them with a sudden jump. Normally, a cat wouldn’t survive jumping from the top of a 30-story building, but this furry boy turned out to be incredibly lucky.
Instead of falling all the way down, he landed on a platform just a few floors below. Although uninjured, the cat continued running away from the rescuers and eventually, he jumped through an apartment’s window.
Realizing this was their only chance, the rescuers quickly entered the apartment, closed the window, and successfully captured the cat.
After the dramatic but successful rescue, the team gently placed the cat inside a pet carrier and brought him to an animal clinic for a thorough examination and necessary treatment.
Aside from being dehydrated and malnourished after days on the ledge, the cat was in good health. With proper medical care, he’ll soon be ready to enjoy his second chance at life!
