Arson, a tiny kitten whose life had barely begun, endured dangers that most could hardly imagine.
He had been seeking refuge in a stack of wood when a sudden fire erupted, leaving him with painful burns on his paws and face.
By sheer luck, or perhaps fate, an animal lover named Bethany arrived just in time.

“He was rescued from a fire pit, but it was not intentional. He was likely hiding in the wood pile. His mom might have put him in there because it looked like a safe place and they didn’t even know he was there when they lit a fire.”

“He is, of course, getting medical care. He is on antibiotics, he has a wound wash and an ointment for his burns and he’s also got pain meds. So, he is being well taken care of and he will be better in no time.”
As time passed, Arson’s recovery continued. He started eating normally, his fur grew back, and he gained confidence in playing, using the litter box, and navigating his environment.
He even made some new fur-ever friends along the way. Bethany provided regular updates to the public, highlighting his progress:
“He is doing great and eating well! He loves to snuggle and he likes trying to catch my fingers.”
Though the burns left temporary fur loss, Arson’s eyes remained healthy and fully functional.
His unique appearance only highlighted his journey, but his playful, loving personality quickly won hearts. Bethany described him as:
“Through it all, he’s just remained the most positive, happy, sweet, and loving little boy.”
