Lonely Cat Misses Her Sister That Passed Away

Lonely Cat Misses Her Sister That Passed Away

Sharing is caring!

Some cats are fortunate enough to not be separated from their littermates when they are adopted into their new homes.

That was the case with Belle and Tori, two sister kitties that spent their entire kittenhood and adulthood together! They were inseparable and loved causing all kinds of trouble together around the house.

Unfortunately, last month, Tori became very sick and passed away.

Belle was devastated. Her owner, Jessica says “She has not been the same ever since she lost her best friend, and sister, Tori.”

Jessica further adds: “Every day, Belle curls up at the spot where Tori used to nap often, and I hear her cry. It breaks my heart.”

Losing her partner-in-crime and best buddy must be so hard on Belle…

Get her a buddy! She shouldn’t be alone.

This happened to me. Found a feral litter in my yard. First there were three then two, so knew mom was moving them. We have coyotes, eagles, owls, so I snatched the remaining two. Vet said they were about 3 wks old so bottle fed them. They turned 16 in March 2022 and we lost her in May of 2022. He looked and called for her loudly for about 5 wks. His calls got softer and he stopped looking under my bed. I couldn’t fill her paws as he slowly ate less and less. Despite vet suggestions and B12 shots, I lost him in October 2022. Broke my heart to see him slowly fade away. I’m 70 and after 50+ yrs of cats will not get more. My heart cannot endure another euthanasia, another loss of great love. My living area still has 7 cat trees. I still have the water fountain in the kitchen, the litter box in the bathroom, and the last few cans of cat food on the counter. I cannot let them go yet.
