Man Rescues The Fluffiest Litter Of Kittens From The Cold Brooklyn Streets

Sharing is caring!

Will Zweigart is known in the Brooklyn area for his amazing work with stray cats. He makes sure our feline friends from Brooklyn find a safe and loving home.

Recently he was informed about a feral mama cat and her litter. Will had no idea how many kittens were involved or how old they were.

Together with his wife, he rushed to the alley where the furry family was spotted. Will noticed the kittens from far away since they were unbelievably fluffy!

It almost looked like the tiny kittens grew another coat of fur, to keep them warm from the cold Brooklyn nights.

Since mama cat was feral, Will planned to trap her, neuter her, and release her again. However, the kittens were old enough to eat wet food and Will was determined to socialize them.

After successfully trapping the furry family, mama cat was immediately transported to a vet office and the kittens were on their way to Will’s home.

The tiny fluffballs were not feral like their mom, but they were still afraid of human touch. Will and his wife knew they had to take it slow with them and make the socializing process stress-free.

Every day they would place two plates with some delicious wet food, and while they were eating, Will would gently stroke them.

This process showed the kittens that these humans were not that scary at all! They bathed them and surprisingly the kittens were super calm during their bath!

In the meantime, mama cat was neutered and successfully released in the area where they’d found her. Will and his team of volunteers made sure that the feral cat colony in Brooklyn always had one proper meal a day.

As for the kittens, they slowly but surely started trusting humans. They became a playful bunch, always jumping and chasing each other around.

They eventually started enjoying cuddles and became little purring machines. Will separated them into two pairs, since the kittens were bonded.

He planned to find them homes where they would be adopted in pairs and he succeeded!

The kittens found their forever humans who were willing to adopt them in pairs, so each kitty had a napping buddy. How adorable, am I right?

Thanks to Will’s effort and determination to save this fluffy family they were now able to enjoy a safe and warm home, away from the cold Brooklyn streets.
