When a rescuer saw a newborn foal at a crowded auction, she knew she had to step in. But saving him and another baby led to a heartwarming discovery she never saw coming.
A Heartbreaking Discovery Online
Auctions can be terrifying places for any animal, but for a newborn, they are especially dangerous. One rescuer knew this all too well when she spotted a baby horse who had just been born in the middle of a chaotic auction facility.
She had already promised her husband that they wouldn’t take in any more rescues for the summer. However, seeing the helpless foal changed everything in an instant.
She knew it was a horrible environment for a fragile baby to spend its first days. Unable to scroll past, she broke her promise and immediately put up the money to save the mother and her newborn.
