A Timid Shelter Cat
When Blake first met Flora, she was sitting in a local animal shelter, waiting for someone to choose her.
He didn’t know exactly what her backstory was or what she had been through before arriving there.

If Blake tries to talk to their other cat, Dennis, Flora will clearly tell him to go away because it is “Dad and mine’s time.”
She does the exact same thing if Blake’s wife walks by and pokes her head into the office.
Flora will chirp at her, too, essentially telling her to get out and leave them in peace.

Today, Blake describes Flora’s personality as incredibly opinionated.
The family often jokes that Flora has a very firm grasp on what is right and wrong in their household.
Whether or not the humans actually agree with her definition of right and wrong is another story entirely.
