Meet The One-Eyed Rescue Cat Who Made History As The First Feline To Hold The Role Of Cadbury Bunny

Sharing is caring!

Did you know that every year there is a special contest reserved for our beloved pets?

That’s right! It’s the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts, where animals compete to become the iconic Cadbury Bunny mascot.

Surprisingly, the winners were almost every animal but a sweet rabbit; we had dogs, a frog, and even a raccoon!

But one lucky year, the award went to Crash, an adorable white and orange kitty from Boise, Idaho, who stole the spotlight with his one eye and a heart full of love.

Here’s his story!

Believe it or not, Crash made history by becoming the first feline to hold the role of Cadbury Bunny.

Pretty impressive, right? This achievement is significant for all kitties around the world, especially those with special needs who are often discriminated against and overlooked by people.

According to sources, Crash was rescued after surviving a devastating car accident where he was severely injured and left with one eye.

As he was healing at Simply Cats Adoption Center in Boise, his quirky and playful personality shone through, which made everyone fall in love with him.

His sweet demeanor and outgoing nature secured him a place in everyone’s hearts, which led to him becoming the resident shelter cat.

When talking about Crash winning the spokesbunny title, Maddie Corey, one of the shelter’s workers, said:

“We are jumping with joy to hear Crash is the next Cadbury Bunny but not surprised as he is always the center of attention in any room. He’s been through so much over the past few years, and we appreciate the love his friends, family, and cat enthusiasts across the country have shown.”

Many folks across the state have reached out to Simply Cats Adoption Center to set up a meeting with Idaho’s very first feline Cadbury Bunny star.

This charming kitty loves to play with shelter staff, perform tricks for visitors, and give them high-fives. He’s thrilled with all the new people his win has brought into his life.

Simply Cats Adoption Shelter shared the exciting news on their Instagram page, stating:

“From hit by a car to Cadbury Star! Crash is the 2023 Winner of the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts: Rescue Pet Edition! Not only is Crash the first cat to win the contest, he is the first pet from Idaho to star in this commercial!”

The post also expressed gratitude, saying:

“We’d like to thank everyone that shared and voted for Crash during the voting period. Without your dedication and support, we would not have had this amazing, life-changing experience and a $5,000 donation to help us support the cats in our care, which is needed now more than ever that kitten season has begun.”

I’m thrilled that such a special feline won this award, and it’s heartwarming to see the money received go to such a great cause! These stories truly make our world a better place.
