Two Girls Save Tiny Kitten From The Boys Who Were Attempting To Hit Him With A Baseball Bat

Two girls were out walking their dogs when they saw something terrible – a bunch of boys from the neighborhood were using a tiny, skinny kitten as a baseball. 

The girls were shocked by what they saw and immediately jumped in to help. They picked up the scared kitten and ended up saving the day, becoming heroes in an unexpected way. 

Even though the kitten was small and clearly not taken care of, the girls knew they had to act fast. They took on the role of being like mothers to the helpless little animal.

The girls lived in a tiny town with not many resources, but they were set on making sure the kitten had a good shot at surviving. 

Even though they knew how to take care of grown-up cats, a baby kitten was a whole different story. 

Luckily, the family vet gave them some good tips and cheered them on, teasingly saying they were now mothers. 

When they took the kitten in for a check-up, they found out he was actually older than they had guessed, just really tiny for his age. But with a clean bill of health from the vet, they felt much better.

The girls showered the little kitten with so much love, trying out all sorts of names until they finally settled on “Fish”. 

Fish loved his special diet of formula and kitten food, and he even learned how to playfully knead his paws, which they called “making muffins”. 

Just when they thought their first day with Fish couldn’t get any more exciting, a tornado warning came along with hail as big as baseballs! It added even more drama to their already eventful day. 

As the days went by, Fish’s world became bigger and brighter. He explored his new surroundings with so much curiosity and playfulness. 

He learned how fun playtime was, even though he wasn’t a big fan of baths. He also discovered his own adorable toe beans and loved batting at toys. 

The vet was really happy with Fish’s progress and told the girls to keep up with his scheduled feedings. At last, they were focused on helping him reach a healthy weight.

I can’t help but feel all warm inside when I think about those courageous girls who protected that helpless kitten! 

Their fast thinking and kind hearts really made a difference in saving Fish. And isn’t Fish just the cutest? 

Finding out about his cute habits and seeing his little toe beans – it’s those small details that make taking care of kittens so wonderful.

While taking our dogs out to go to the bathroom we overheard some young neighborhood boys talking about wanting to put this kitten on their tee and hit it with a baseball bat 😳 we quickly ran over and told them we would get it the help it needs. Thankfully a couple of the boys handed it over to us. We called our family vet who gave us some helpful instructions and told us congrats on becoming mothers 😅 in a small town there really aren’t any resources. We have cared for many adult cats and cats with disabilities, blind, feeding tubes… but we have never cared for a kitten this young before, so any helpful tips are welcome. Please be kind, we are doing our best!
