Kansas Woman Agrees To Foster A Disabled Cat, But The Moment They Meet, Everything Changes
It all began years ago when chance brought Penny into Taylor’s life.
Taylor was working at a vet clinic when a coworker mentioned a cat who urgently needed a temporary foster home. Without overthinking it, Taylor stepped up.

“She has no discomfort because of it. I’ve seen a few people look at her and immediately think like, what’s wrong with her? Or, oh, she’s so different.”
While others might view Penny’s condition as a difficulty, Taylor sees it differently. For her, what stands out most is Penny’s vibrant personality, which far outweighs any limitations.
Taylor added:
“I fell in love with her just because of her personality and who she is.”
Penny turned out to be an affectionate little soul, always craving closeness and comfort. It didn’t take long for Taylor to notice that her kitty’s greatest daily request was simple – cuddles.

“She loves the balcony. She loves to watch the birds, and she can be feisty when she wants to, mostly with her little brother Kaz.”

“Special needs pets deserve a home as much as any other cat. They just were born a little different and they have different ways of getting around, different ways of seeing the world but they’re also strong and determined.”
