Ohio Woman Spots Something Moving In Her Garden Drain And Ends Up Saving 7 Precious Lives

It all started one summer day when Jane, a resident of Ohio, stepped into her garden and noticed a few curious little faces peeking out from the greenery.

At first, she thought her eyes were playing tricks on her, but no, there they were. Six fluffy kittens tucked safely in her yard like they had chosen her all along.

Jane named the mama cat Joanie. She was still cautious, unsure of this new indoor world, but she seemed grateful that her babies were finally safe.

Soon they were purring, giving kisses, and bouncing around the house with confidence. Jane shared in an interview:

“A pair for my husband and I, a pair for a friend and his partner, and a singleton for my dog’s foster mom … Honestly, if we can’t find a home for the last kitten, we’ll probably keep him, as well.”

As for Joanie, the future is still undecided. She may stay with Jane if she fully adjusts to indoor life.

If not, she’ll be spayed and safely released, and her days of struggling to raise kittens on the street are behind her.

Jane never expected her summer to turn into a rescue mission, but now she wouldn’t change it for the world.

With six playful kittens running around, a grateful mama cat keeping watch, and a house filled with new energy, she feels lucky that they chose her garden to call home.
