Picture being a dog owner with a work schedule so flexible you can spend nearly every moment with your four-legged best friend. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

That was the situation for Daiana Kreiman in Miami, Florida. After returning to her office job following a stretch of working from home, she couldn’t help but worry about how her Golden Retriever, Pumba, would cope without her around.
What she ended up discovering on Pumba’s very first day alone in the house left her completely stunned.
Pumba is a gentle, well-trained dog who follows the rules. He doesn’t chew on furniture, cause chaos, or leave a mess behind.
There’s only one thing he truly struggles with – being left on his own.
So when Daiana and her husband had to be gone for a full day, she worried about how he might handle it. To ease her mind, she set up a pet camera to keep an eye on him.
But the moment the couple walked out the door, Pumba’s reaction was something no one could have predicted.
As soon as the coast was clear, Pumba put his plan into action like a clever little mastermind.
He jumped onto the bed, found the perfect spot, and settled in. With a long, lazy yawn, he curled himself up and stayed put, barely even twitching.
If he had to spend the day alone, he was determined to do it in comfort. Pumba stretched out across the bed, belly up and paws in the air, looking as carefree as could be.
