Los Angeles Pottery Shop Workes Approaches A Clay Pot And Sees Two Eyes Staring Right At Her

Many small animals often seek food or shelter in the most surprising places. But it’s when they encounter humans that the real surprises unfold.
That’s exactly what happened recently at Olive Atelier, a pottery shop in Los Angeles, California.
It started as just another regular day for the shop’s workers, and no one had any reason to believe that a furry guest was hiding within their store.
While cleaning, one of the workers came face to face with an unexpected visitor tucked inside one of the clay pots.
Naturally, everyone was left completely stunned.

Elizabeth, the worker who experienced a surprising encounter, shared in an interview:
“One day we were out there, and he just popped his little head up. It was really cute.”
So, who was this unexpected visitor? It turned out to be a stray cat that had snuck into the store unnoticed and made himself comfortable inside one of the clay pots.
Once the initial shock wore off, Elizabeth wanted to gain the cat’s trust but decided to take things slowly.

She started by leaving out a big bowl of food. The cat wasted no time, rushing to the bowl and devouring the meal in seconds.
However, when Elizabeth tried to approach him, it didn’t go the way she expected. It seemed that the kitty was afraid of interacting with people.
Realizing that, Elizabeth devised another plan. She began putting food out for him every day.

With patience and consistency, the cat gradually warmed up to Elizabeth. Before long, he transformed into a cuddly companion who would approach her for pets and attention.
That was when Elizabeth realized he truly captured her heart. She shared:
“When he did let me pet him, then it was over.”

As their connection deepened, Elizabeth knew she couldn’t let him go. She made the heartfelt decision to adopt him, naming him Patino, symbolizing a new, fresh start in his life. She added:
“I definitely think that Patino adopted me.”
It seemed as if they were destined to meet and be together.
After that, Elizabeth proceeded to take all the necessary steps to ensure Patino’s health.

She took him to the vet for vaccinations and a thorough examination. Thankfully, he was in a very good condition and all there was left to do was celebrate Patino’s new chapter in life.
Elizabeth added proudly:
“We had a little adoption party for him.”
Once a stray living in a pottery shop, without anyone knowing, Patino now has a warm and loving home to call his own, as well as a human friend who loves him endlessly. But, Elizabeth still takes him on small adventures.

Even though Patino spends most of his time at home with his feline siblings, Elizabeth often takes him to the store where he can see his old friends and spend some time with her while she’s at work.
His story quickly spread throughout the city, and many people came to the store hoping to meet him. Elizabeth added:
“I try to bring him in once every week, so if anybody wants to see him, he’s usually here on Fridays.”
Elizabeth is a devoted cat lover, but she never imagined she’d meet her new feline friend at the pottery store. Well, maybe that’s what makes their story so special.

They were both in the right place at the right time, and she couldn’t be more grateful to be the one who saw Patino’s face poking out of the clay pot. She said:
“I’m so thankful that I found him. Probably one of the best things I did was take him home.”
