Virginia Cat Never Stops Yelling At His Owner, But Their Bond Holds A Touching Secret
A vocal, high-energy cat named Apollo brings endless conversation and comfort to his owner’s life, especially during a painful college injury. Alongside his quiet sister Artemis, this feline duo proves that opposites attract.
A Leap Of Absolute Trust

Some cats show their love through quiet purrs, but Apollo shows his through action. He is a high-energy feline who is always eager for a snack.
When his owner holds out a treat and does a little pinch with their fingers, Apollo doesn’t hesitate. He will jump right up to grab it.
As he hangs on to his owner’s hand, his tail twitches with excitement. He completely trusts that he won’t be dropped.
"It takes a lot of trust on both our parts," his owner explains. It is just one small example of the incredibly tight bond they share.
The Loudest Welcome Home

Apollo is not the kind of cat who hides under the bed when the front door opens. He prefers to be front and center.
Whenever his owner comes home, Apollo is already sitting right by the door, waiting to say hello.
His greetings, however, are far from quiet. He immediately welcomes his human by "yelling" at them, which is simply his unique way of talking.
He will follow his owner from room to room, making sure his presence is known.
A Comforting Paw During Hard Times

While Apollo might seem like just a loud, goofy cat on the surface, he has a deeply empathetic side.
During college, his owner suffered a pretty bad back injury. It was a painful and difficult time, but Apollo stepped up to help.
The sweet cat would come right up to his injured owner and gently place his paw on them.
"He actively tries to know how I’m feeling," his owner notes. That gentle comfort showed a completely different side of the energetic feline.
Conversations And Morning Alarms

Life with Apollo means you are never truly alone, and you are certainly never in a quiet room.
He is a very loud boy who loves to have full-blown conversations. If his owner asks if he’s hungry, Apollo will meow right back with plenty of attitude.
He even acts as a very demanding alarm clock. If his owner tries to stay in bed too long, Apollo will march over and scream right in their face.
He simply wants to be involved in everything his human is doing, whether it’s eating ice cream or starting the day.
The Quiet Sister In The Shadows

While Apollo demands the spotlight, his sister Artemis prefers the shadows. The two felines couldn’t be more different.
Artemis is not a very vocal cat at all. In fact, her owner affectionately describes her as being very antisocial.
She doesn’t need to be involved in every little thing. Artemis just wants to do her own thing in peace.
Living with a brother as loud and energetic as Apollo can sometimes test her patience.
A Perfect Balance Of Personalities

Because their personalities are so mismatched, there is bound to be a little bit of sibling rivalry.
Artemis often seems to find Apollo quite annoying. If he is making too much noise, she won’t hesitate to reach out and smack him.
Yet, despite the occasional swat, they always manage to put their differences aside at the end of the day.
When the house settles down, the two opposites will cuddle up closely together. Despite all the noise and the smacks, they truly love each other.
