Texas Pittie Turns Gray After 7 Years In Shelter Before Finally Finding A Home

You know how some animals just steal your heart without even trying? That’s exactly what happened to Joshua Kennon the first time he walked into Haven Animal Care Shelter in Texas.

The shelter was filled with wagging tails and hopeful eyes, but one older pittie girl seemed to shine in her own quiet way. Her name was Terri, and from the moment Joshua laid eyes on her, he was hooked.

Terri wasn’t shy about showing how much she wanted a friend. She bounced right up to Joshua as if they’d known each other forever. With her whole body wiggling, she showered him in kisses, making it impossible not to smile.

Joshua recalled in an interview:

“She was jumping on me, giving me kisses and being the sweetest. So from day one, I was attached to her.”
