This Cat Is Winning Hearts For Taking Her Owner’s Guests On Hikes

Sebastian S. Cocioba had a delightful surprise from an unexpected companion during his recent trip to upstate New York.
Sebastian and his partner visited Philipstown for a peaceful getaway. Instead of a local guide or even the AirBnb host, they found themselves on an adventure led by the host’s adventurous cat, Cinnamon.
In a now-viral social media post, Sebastian shared the heartwarming story of how Cinnamon guided them on a hike along the famous Appalachian Trail.
This incredible cat has made it a habit of taking guests on scenic hikes through the trails of upstate New York. As Sebastian wrote in his post:
“The AirBnB host’s cat took us for a guided hike along the Appalachian trail. Apparently this is what she does with every guest.”
Not only did Cinnamon lead the way, but she also had a funny way of letting Sebastian know when he strayed from the path. As he shared:
“She would complain when we took a wrong turn off the trail.”
In his post, Sebastian affectionately described Cinnamon as not just a hiking buddy, but also a wilderness guide and someone he’d trust to lead him through even the toughest situations – like an apocalypse.
“Amazing cat. Would apocalypse with,” he joked.
The accommodation has received numerous reviews praising Cinnamon’s special role as a companion for guests. One visitor, Amalia, wrote, “There is a kitty that comes to visit, Cinnamon. He’s very cute.”
Jocelyn shared, “We were thrilled to have her sweet kitty Cinnamon walk with us on the trail for a bit, so we got to check off hiking with a cat from our bucket list!” Others chimed in saying: “LOVED that Cinnamon, the cat, was so friendly!”
“The cats were the highlight of my whole trip, they’re both sooo nice!”
Douglas wrote, “Best of all, upon arrival we were greeted by her furry orange concierge, Cinnamon, who immediately led us to our apartment and hung out with us for a while, being the one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever met. Hudson was also a cool cat, but Cinnamon ran the place.”
And Mark, like many others, enjoyed his hike:
