A Mother’s Desperate Pleas
It was a hot day when a mother duck’s frantic behavior caught the attention of a passing couple.
She was pacing and quacking loudly, clearly in a state of deep distress.
The woman noticing the bird immediately realized something was wrong, noting that the poor mother was incredibly stressed.

Discovering The Problem
Following the mother duck’s gaze, the couple looked down into a nearby storm drain.
There, trapped beneath the heavy metal grate, were her tiny babies.
