Today, Gertie has regained an incredible amount of movement. She isn’t just walking; she’s speedy, she can run, and she loves to climb all over the house.
She has proven to everyone that she can live an amazing life, and her difficult past isn’t going to slow her down one bit. Her incredible transformation is a testament to love, patience, and friendship.
Because her bond with Shay is so deep, Kendra made a heartwarming decision about her future. “I think that she’ll, at some point, become a full-time member of the household,” she said, ensuring these two best friends will never be separated.
