California Cat Who Thinks He’s A Dog Finally Gets The Best Friend He Always Wanted
A cat with a canine personality longed for a dog to love him back. When a foster pup needing a leg amputation entered his home, their instant bond changed both of their lives forever.
A Feline With Canine Dreams
Sebastian is not your typical feline. In fact, his owner is pretty convinced that he actually believes he is a dog.
From the very beginning, Sebastian showed an unusual fascination and deep love for his canine counterparts. He just wanted to be part of the pack.
With his owner’s previous dog, Butters, Sebastian tried his hardest to build a bond. He would always go up and try to sniff her, hoping to spark a friendship.

During Roo’s difficult healing process, Sebastian refused to leave her side. He was incredibly sweet and attentive to the recovering dog.
He would curl up right in her bed next to her cast. It was as if he knew exactly what she was going through and that she needed a friend.
His dedication earned him a brand new title in the household. The owner proudly started calling him "Nurse Sebastian."
Meant To Be Together
As Roo healed, the bond between the dog and the cat only grew stronger. They spent every normal day cuddled up together.
Watching them, the owner realized that separating these two best friends was simply impossible. The love they shared was too rare to break apart.
Because of their incredible connection, Roo became a "foster fail." The owner officially adopted her, ensuring that Nurse Sebastian would never have to say goodbye to the dog of his dreams.
