Whether you’re a cat or a woman, motherhood is not easy. This mama cat knows it well and isn’t afraid to ask for help. Everyone needs a break from time to time, and this mama cat didn’t hesitate to take hers.
A TikTok user named joining_the_jones filmed her pet cat bringing in her kittens one by one to her bed. The cat’s owner was surprised because she had just gotten ready for bed when her cat started bringing them in.
The cat was like, “Move over, make some room for my babes.”
This short video quickly went viral, gaining more than 6 million views. The owner captioned it:
“Mama just needed a little break I guess.”
And she certainly did. Mama cat walked into the room, jumped on her owner’s bed, and tucked her kittens in. I was just waiting for her to start shushing her owner, lol.
She then went under the covers to snuggle beside her babies and the owner humorously imagined the cat saying: “Excuse me, ma’am, I just put my kids to bed.”
Well, everyone needs a break from time to time, and there’s nothing wrong with asking for help with motherly duties. Their hooman grandma can watch them for a bit – why not?
