A cat named Snowball became a proud mom to a litter of kittens. Among her adorable furballs, there was Ginger, a tiny boy who made all the difference.
One day, as the little family meowed and played, their hooman heard faint cries coming from the yard. She rushed outside to find a tiny newborn kitten lying helplessly on the ground.
As she came closer, the woman realized the kitten she found wasn’t one of Snowball’s. Separated from her mother, the poor thing was all alone, struggling for survival.
She reached out to neighbors, checking if the kitten belonged to anyone. However, nobody knew where she came from. She then tried to look for the mother cat, but no one was there.
Ginger’s Brave Rescue
The confused woman wanted to help but her hands were already full with Snowball and her kittens. As she wondered what to do, she didn’t realize that one of Snowball’s kittens had run out of the gate.
All of a sudden, she turned around and saw Ginger approaching the baby kitten. Driven by a plan only he knew, he scooped her up in his mouth and started dragging her through the yard.
The woman watched in shock as her kitten, still weak at a tender age, carried another kitten toward the house. Where was he going? To his mother, of course!
He proudly placed the baby girl next to his mommy, his eyes shining with hope. While Snowball, surprised and uncertain, sniffed the little one, Ginger waited anxiously nearby.
Family Gets A New Member
Snowball’s maternal instincts kicked in and she welcomed the lost kitten into their loving family. As the baby started to nurse, Ginger stood by her side, ensuring his new sister was there to stay.
Although initially planning to rehome all the kittens, the woman decided to keep the two siblings together with Snowball and herself. Nobody was happier than Ginger, knowing he would be his sister’s guardian angel for life.
