Sharing is caring!

As devoted cat parents, I believe we all swell with pride when our furry companions accomplish even the simplest feats.

Speaking from my own experience, I can assure you that my phone is always within arm’s reach, ready to take amazing shots of my felines at any given moment.

I swear, my photo gallery is brimming with snapshots of my cats savoring their finest moments. I’m sure many of you can relate, right?

Yet, our hearts truly fill with pride when our beloved feline friends achieve something they’ve never done before.

If you wish to see more cats doing something for the first time and share in the joy of fellow cat parents from all corners of the globe, be sure to check out these wholesome photos below!

1. “Sir, where’s that thermometer going?”

How brave is this stunning kitty? You can tell she’s extremely nervous, but doing an incredible job nonetheless. Bravo!

2. “Wow dad. This. Is. Magical!”

If there’s one thing in this world that warms my heart, it’s seeing cats genuinely fascinated by the Christmas tree.

Even though this kitty might be plotting a tree-takeover mission, it’s still nice to see her eyes sparkle with admiration.

3. “What’s this icy dust, mom?”

This right here is one of those moments when you feel genuinely proud and thankful. You stop and think to yourself, “Wow, I’ve really made it in life.”

It’s amazing to realize that you don’t need much to be happy. Just a nice, humble life and a feline companion to share it with.

5. “I deserve this nap because I did my first number two in the litter box!”

With kittens, any experience is a first-time experience! It’s truly an honor watching a kitten grow, and perceive every moment as a new adventure.

6. “Look, mom! I managed to clean myself for the first time!”

Self-grooming is a must in the feline world. It can be quite a challenge, especially for a tiny kitten, but nothing’s impossible for a determined kitty!

7. “So, this is my new friend, right?”

Claire met her feline sister Carrot when she was just 8 months old. Her parents adopted her from a local shelter and thought what a wonderful idea it would be for their daughter to grow up with a cat.

I think Carrot made a pretty good first impression, don’t you agree?

8. “I’m no longer a terrified kitty!”

This is Bonks and this is his first time feeling safe in his furever home since he was adopted from a local shelter. We’re all so proud of you, Bonks!

9. “Today I peed for the first time on my own since my injury!”

This sweet boy suffered a severe spinal injury when he was around 12 weeks old. He was abandoned on the side of the road but was fortunately rescued by some truly amazing people.

The road to his recovery was hard, but he made it! We’re so happy for you!

10. “How do you like my first outfit?”

This is Mr. London Meow. In this picture, he’s only three months old and weighs less than 2 pounds. Since that day, Mr. London has proudly worn many outfits, but his first one is undoubtedly the most adorable.

11. “I much purrfer the comfort of my indoor life!”

I love how this kitty is hiding behind her human’s leg, as a child hides behind his mom. So precious!

Don’t worry, little fluff. I’m sure your parents are proud of you for taking such a big step and exploring the great outdoors. They won’t mind if you never wish to step your paws outside again.

12. “This is one big kibble if you ask me!”

Cats can be the goofiest creatures ever, right? Look at her, confidently going after that huge watermelon. If this were my cat, I’d frame this photo in my kitchen!

13. “I LOVED my first Thanksgiving! It was so much fun!”

One of my favorite things to do is look at the photos of cats enjoying holidays, and Thanksgiving is no exception.

It warms my heart to know this adorable feline had so much fun during her first Thanksgiving.

14. “Man, this high life ain’t for me…”

You can see the fear in this cat’s eyes as she clings to the stairs for dear life. Don’t worry, kitty. At least you tried to help your human.

15. “I have a feeling me and my grandma will be besties!”

It only took this cat ten seconds to fall in love with her grandma. I’m sure her mom is beaming with joy!

16. “You mean to tell me that there’s a whole world out there, mom?”

This feline was clearly surprised to discover what’s been hiding behind the door all this time. I hope her first time seeing the great outdoors was fun.

17. “Wow, the sun is so cool!”

If you’re ever in need of a daily dose of happiness, make sure to save this picture of a two-week-old foster kitten seeing the sun for the first time.

18. “The beach is nice, I guess…”

This kitty doesn’t seem overly thrilled with the beach, but she’s doing a good job tolerating the harness and leash. That’s a win in my book!

19. “I’ll tolerate him for you, mom. But if he breaks your heart, I’ll scratch his face!”

Our feline friends can be a great test for our significant others. If they don’t support our choice, it might be time for a breakup!

All jokes aside, this kitty seems to adore her new human. I’m sure her mom is more than thrilled!

20. “What happened to the great outdoors, mom?”

Another kitty experiencing the snow for the first time. This one is a bit more terrified of it, though.

21. “Look, guys. It looks like this thing is sucking in all the mess we’ve worked so hard on.”

Congratulations, adorable furballs! It looks like you’ve mastered the art of hiding from the vacuum cleaner. We’re all so proud of you!

22. “What do you mean I’m not the ONLY baby in this house anymore?”

I guess she took the news rather well.
