There is an unofficial “rule” that the size of a litter box needs to be 1.5 times larger than the cat using it. I know it may sound strange, and you’re thinking “Of course I know the size of my cat”, but trust me – it can be a bit tricky when it comes to choosing the proper litter box – even a few centimeters can make a difference.
